im trying to change my fuel pump on my EF. Im getting mixed answers on where it is... Under the seat or drop the tank?
The unit under the seat, is that unit the Fuel Level Gauge???
if so, then i have to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump.
Now, i didnt listen tooo closely to the clicking sound from the relay, but i don't hear anything from the fuel pump in terms on sending fuel to the engine.
I've had problems before with the car shutting off due to irratic idle, and not starting again for a few minutes. would this problem be, bad injectors, main relay, fuel filter, or fuel pump? how do you determine which one?

you will have to drop the tank and dont forget to get new straps ur old ones are prob rusted jus from expirences

Dude your asking a lot of questions here. Clarify a bit. Are you asking if we think its the fuel pump? or how to change the pump? Changing the pump is a ***** as you have to drop the tank, replace the straps. Also be very careful with your fuel lines while doing this so they don't break...
