ECU issues...Sir in an EK

hello there...I have recently put in an SIR motor in my 97 EK (si)...The question is...when I bolt in the ECU, two of the plugs work and the third clip is too small...I have looked on Honda tech, and have found some threads on it...however I am not a mechanic and still am unsure... I have also been told that there is a patch cord that is available to link the third wire in...does anyone know or can you help on this issue??? BTW, I have searched here and on honda tech...cant find anything that I understand...could someone put it in laymans terms for me...thanks
