ECU Help

i have a P91 that im using for my 1.6 SOHC VTEC ZC (plz dont start arguing that they dont exist). i am considering getting it chipped but i barely know anything about chips. plz help me out with ne info (price, pros/cons, how will it effect fuel economy, power, where to get it done). Also will it allow me to go over 200km/h? with my P06 the engine cut out at 185-190km/h, but the vtec wasnt hooked up.
:shrugs:

what is the difference between a P08, P28, or P91?

P91 is an odd-ball ECU - it is missing a lot of components the P28 has, and won't run a standard USDM chip. IIRC the last one i chipped didn't have any O2 HTC circutry on it. You'd be better off converting your P06 to P28 spec if you want to chip it and run a USDM prog on it.

If you need help with chipping - shoot me a PM or email.

yeah, P06 is where its at... I've got a couple myself, one spare and one with Hondata installed.

I'm not sure I'd want be anywhere near you when your doing 200km/hr in an otherwise stock Civic! It's unsafe! And I don't mean "running with scissors" unsafe either!
