ECU on fuel economy
My gf's car, the car just had a engine swap with a D15b v-tec e. I had a p28 ecu and the car didn't ran that good. It still doesn't. I put in a P84 and the car ran a little bit better but it still shakes. Anyways my problem is that before her car can get like 300-350km per tank. Now she gets like 200km per tank with the new ecu, but this ecu ran much smoother and got more pickup and is the right 1 for this engine but eats a lot more gas. What is the problem? Could it be the wrong O2 sensor because the o2 sensor was new too when i install the engine. Would there be a different O2 sensor for that v-tec e engine? It is automatic. Any help will be appreciated thanx.

is the p84 ecu the PROPER ecu? I honestly have no clue. If not, then get the right ecu for the motor. That was a huge factor on fuel economy.
If not check things like base timing, vacuum leaks, blahblah. But to me it sounds like you got the wrong ecu in there.
