The motor is turning over but just won't start, getting goood spark and fuel is there. The car died on me when i was driving just accecerating around 3k i had it in gear so it didn't die soon as i put it in neutral it died. Any suggestions ?? It backfires when trying to start it. Lightbulb

well there was spark just the rotor melted and it slipped so therefore the timing was off hence that's why it would not start. The rotor melted cause the bearing the rotor spins on is worn out, i will be getting a new distributor still under warranty.
