i got an ecu chip for my 90 crx si im just wondering if the chips even do anything like horse power wize? any help before i get it installed ?

they do but the horsepower difference is small on a stock engine. If done right it will improve your acceleration through the power band, but not much more. Don't pay to much for marginal horsepower. You are better off doing other things depending what you engine setup is
