e-brake light

e-brake light

i just did my ITR swap in my eg hatch and i realized that my e-brake light lights up all the time, even when the e-brake handle is put down...any ideas?

Low brake fluid or the switch under the park brake handle is not making contact and closing the switch to turn off the light.

could be a bad master cylinder cap there is a sensor in the cap to tell you when the fluid is low i come into this problem at lot at the shop

remove the connector and ground it out, if it's still on, then check that the reservoir switch is working as it should
