dyno numbers

getting a dyno done in the spring...any guesses what my numbers might be...

2002 Civic DX 2-door
HP full race header
custom 2.25" exhaust
Cold Air Intake
DH Racing crank pulley (thing weighs 6oz. and provides amazing gains..eliminates PS and AC.)
75 shot NX wet kit with purge and warmer
also plugs to work with the nitrous

horsepower and torque would be great....what you think?

Horsepower 120HP@6100RPM
Torque 116ft-lbs@4800RPM

with your bolt ons

on the bottle:
Horsepower 195HP@6100RPM
Torque 220ft-lbs@3300RPM

that's my guess.

Bottles are for babies, real men get blown

oh, and for the love of god, upgrade your fuel pump

also, if you dyno, you prolly won't hit those numbers cuz your clutch will slip.

actually its stock 115hp.

getting a clutch....asked in a seperate thread which one the ACT 2600 or the 2100. either one and i'll have no clutch problems.

cant upgrade fuel pump unless i tinker with the fuel return setup...whatever it is...non returnless or returnless?? i dunno...i cant do fuel pump or pressure reg until i do a conversion..and thats coin. the wet kit on a 75 shot will be fine.

I know the stock power, but given your slight modifications, I estimated newfound power.

My buddy did a turbo Si Veloz, and he hacked up his returnless system and had a custom one built with a custom fuel rail and all. When you are hardcore, you're hardcore

my car
158hp at 5400 rpm
152ft-pds at 5400rpm
i perform dyno and scan runs of cars with the OBDII system
all i have done to my engine is fuel mods, cams, valves, valve springs, custom exaust, stage 1 clutch, and i get the numbers
not bad from 115hp and 110ft-pds
and it is an 02 4dr civic

its not hard when a you have freinds who build race engines and know exactly what parts will work together to give the most power when they are combined.
I get allot of people who think the bigger the exaust the fast you will go, that is not always true, it depends on the compresion ration and the back pressure, and allot of other little things. my cat back exaust is 2 1/4 inch mandrel bent turbo pipe, my only problem is when it gets wet it goes out of balance and vibrats allot for about 1-2 min but that is actually due to the desighn of the exaust system that honda made for the 7th gen civics. if you reserch and see numbers and graphs and do you your homeworks you can do allot with an engine, but is you go by parts because everyone else has them you mught get some power or you will loose some paower so like i say research then mod, and spend the big bucks and get the best quiality made part and save your self some headachs in the future.

LordM: are those numbers at the wheels or flywheel???

those ar every impressive for a non-tec motor, considering the LX model had good low end

not worth it for me right now. the wet kit will handle the shot fine, and until i start getting into the internals i have no need for it. so i'll save my $$ for now

lordm...those numbers are good.....mind if i ask to see a dyno?? just seems hard to believe that with those mods you brought a car from 94.5whp to 154.......unless i'm missing something
