To fit in your DX model. Toss out/sell your old D-series engine/transmission/ecu

What parts you will need that I think off the top of my head.

Basic list as follows:

Engine & Transmission
Axles
Correct ECU for that engine
Wiring
Shift linkagage
Engine mounts http://www.hasports.com
New clutch kit
New t-belt, water pump, & tensioner.

Check out TCC sponsors or local shops that HAVE done these before for prices on installs.

What's a frankenstein? Would it be another name for CRV/vtec?

imported_G2 Speed 28-Jul-2005 06:09 PM

yea b20/vtec ls/vtec

but b16b is a stock engine so not a frakenstien i don't belive so

and i think a b16b is a hella cooler then a ls/vtec

I love B16B's they have an Insane rod stroke ratio. Like 2:1 or something ridiculously high? Id take one over a B18C. But only if it was going in a hatchback. Since you have a Coupe you should take a B18C or C5. The extra displacement and Torque will benifet the heavier car more. Hell you might as well just save some money and get a plain B18C1 and throw some bolt on's or some suspension work.
