Some of my buddy's have showed interest in buying these tires, does anyone know first hand if they are decent for the street/track?

The price is VERY reasonable.

Im running them, they are noisy agressive sounding tires, but are very soft and sticky. But i find they loose allot of bite in the rain, but they displace the water well so they dont really hydroplane much, i just find the water cools them down and makes the compound harder and they dont bite into the pavement as well when wet... But in the dry they really hold well, and IMO they are the nicest looking tire out there... the rounded edges look sweet on a low profile. And they also have a curb gaurd for protecting the rim against minor encounters...

Tread life has also been acceptable, ive gotten 2 seasons so far and they have alt least 40-50% tread left, and i push them relatively hard daily...if u saw my road to work, you would understand

umm, haha thats all relative... its only noisy on the highway, its enough to think theres something wrong with the car, but not enough to be annoying... if u have any louder than stock muffler you probably wont hear them.

I would compare the sound to a winter tire on a truck or jeep, maybe an offroad tire

the general concensus is that they are good for the money I looked into buying these tires last year, but I bought something else.

Ya, I have them before too. They are pretty noisy, especially on highway as mentioned above, but they do grip pretty well. If noise is not a concern, then they are good bang for the buck. I got my set of 205-55-15 for just under CA$600 installed.
