dropped bit in head

dropped bit in head

hey guys i was just finishing my motor and i was tightening the headstuds with a bit attachment from a screwdriver and the bit fell of and went into where the camshaft sits the valves on that cyldiner were closed but i heard it drop far and hit something so ive taken the head off the block and the bit is nowhere to be seen any help or tips to find that ****er

anywhere u know i can pick one up?ive also looked in the head and shook the crap out of it im not sure if its in there and its not where the coolant is because i checked there as well

the motor was not in the car its in my garage and i saw it fall down into the camshaft area but the valves were closed what are the odds it fell into the oil pan.

if it fell into the valves area, u still should have pistons between the head and oilpan, it wouldnt be in the oil pan maybe in the cylinder but if u said the valves are closed it should still be somewhere in the head

hahah i went out today and bought a 68cm long magnetic stick that can lift 2.5 lbs lol lets see if i can go fishing

update:

i stuck the pole down the oil pan and swung it around and i got the bit out im still not sure how it got down there if the valves were closed tho
