Driveshafts

I'm gonna be needing new driveshafts soon. What I drive is a 92 EG Sedan EX-V so i have a SI SOHC VTEC. I heard i need specific ones because of this and was wondering if driveshafts from a 95 CX hatch would fit?

anyone?

The length would be the same, but you have to find out if the spline count is the same. Also, it's like a clutch... it may fit, but maybe it won't handle an extra 25 hp, you know.... Safest bet is to get original ones that were supposed to be there to begin with.... EX ones.

I have axles from my 94 civic LX sedan that just got taken out, if you want them.

hey they will fit
as long as
both cars are the same tranny (auto or manual) and it's the same body style. so yea, from 92-95 drive axles are compatible as long as the trannies are the same. doesn't matter if lx, dx, cx, si whatever.

ok no im confused... im doing a auto ot stick tranny swap this summer and was told that i could use the same driveshafts and wouldnt have to replce them cuz my engine is d16z6 SOHC VTEC just that they're wearing out. could someone please clarify for me what driveshafts i could use? cuz i was gonna get a perfectly used one for CHEAP from my mech. it fit.. but than it didnt fit into the hub.. said i need them from si... so confused1!!

auto and manual axles are the same, as long as its the same series engine. Like all d series, or b series or h etc.
