driveshaft stuck in transmission

Hi, I'm doing a b-series swap into my car right now. The driveshaft on the differential side of the b-series transmission is stuck inside. I have been prying at it for a few hours now and it will not budge. I have taken out the intermediate shaft trying to access the C-clip/set ring that holds the driveshaft in, but I cannot see anything still. I really really need some advice on how to get this driveshaft out. Are there any other reasons for why it's not coming out easily?

either its been smashed in with a hammer or in an accident. I've seen about 4 or 5 cv joints that will absouletly not come out. One was an LSD so I hit it on the other side with a brass punch.. took about 20 good wacks to get it out, when i got it out the diff splies and axles splines were absouletly fucttttt.

Anyways, maybe you just need a bigger pry bar..or a slide hammer would work nice.

Chris, you are awesome man. I used a punch and hit the driveshaft from the end where I took out the intermediate shaft. It came out in one light tap. I have no idea why it would not come out when I was prying it from the other end. The driveshaft wasn't stuck at all really... maybe it just needed the proper force in the proper direction. No splines are damaged and the C-clip/set pin isn't damaged either. Thanks for your help!!! I'm still a little bit confused but as long as it's out I'm happy.

I'm so good. lol

It was probably never taken out, just needed some force. Glad you got it out.
