Question drive axels

OK, so my cv joints are clacking like a frick train on a bad track and I need to replace them. A friend of mine just bdid a motor swap and I was thinking of using his good axles. My question is, can I use auto drive axles in a standard if the engine is the same?
I know that four and five speed axles are not compatible but not sure of auto and man.

Yes you can. I had an auto D15B7 and used the exact same axles on my D16Z6 Manual. They all fit perfect like a charm and you have nothing to worry about.

All axles are interchangeable if they're in the same series. (I.E: D, B etc etc.)
