Door Stopper?
 

Hey, I did the dumbest thing ever today. I was working on my car for a bit and when I was done I decided to take it around the block.

Anways..so I took my ebrake off not even realizing my moms car is beside me (my door is open) the f'in door hits her bumper..and that piece of metal with a pin through it (I'm not even sure what its called) snaps..and now my door is messed.
I'm not sure what I can do about this. Anyone have a suggestion? can I buy the part at honda or something?

The reason I said "door stopper" Is because it's that piece of metal thats hooked on to the car itself and goes inside the door.
It's what allows you to open the door to that certain limit. Now I can practically open it all the way..it's not right..

i would just go to a junkyard and grab one off, just need a hammer or a rock will do as well, anyways, i dont see that part being expensive at all at the dealer

I imagine that thing is a bitch to replace cuz it's so deep inside the door and the body of the car too. I'd get it from the dealer cuz I don't think any junkyard would bother removing it for you.
