I just glanced at it but it looks average price to me.. keep in mind converting to CDN $, shipping, and border taxes..

Chigga1 31-May-2006 01:22 PM

well converted is 2G's

shipping is not an issue...

chris_si98 31-May-2006 02:30 PM

i wouldnt buy a manufactered kit.

For that price.. you can build your own killer setup

imported_2XPLICIT 31-May-2006 02:46 PM

well thats actually a good price especially if you have family up there... you can ship it too.... then you spend an extra few hundred for a hks ssqv and some other parts.. good price though damn... i booked marked it.

Chigga1 31-May-2006 02:55 PM

haha i know thats what im saying, i dont like the manifold...

it doesnt come with dp and fuel mgmt..
the exchange rate is killer too..

the intercooler has awesome reviews..
yeahim still gonna build a kit, but the Turbonetics turbo caught my eye.. as well its hard to find decent turbos for decent price..

imported_alwaysoverkill 31-May-2006 03:18 PM

guys exchange rate is amazing. Sure its still 10% but our tax is 15% and there is no tax on out of state purchases, or low tax (The states tax) on in-state purchases.

I deal with the states all the time on purchases as I have family there....killer deals even with the exchange rate. MY new rollerblades were $299usd and with exchange it was $330cdn...not bad if you ask me.

imported_2XPLICIT 31-May-2006 04:12 PM

honestly i am looking for a turbo and i go to visit my family in NJ all the time.. I am going to order the kit and i'll tell you guys how it is when i get it installed. I'll keep note of what mods i will do when i get it..

if you want me to help you get going, I'll help dude.

It's nice to see people starting to build their own turbo kits:thumbup: I've learn a few things about custom kits.. that i didn't know before I spun my bearing.

**** it and buy a full-race kit. You really cant match them, thats all I try and sell people. They are honestly, the best bang for your bucks and geoff is an awsome guy to deal with.

Mr. Death 01-Jun-2006 12:42 AM

Full Race kits are badass. You get what you pay for with the fr kit.

yeah i emailed them... it seems the guy didnt understand about my question about the manifold when i asked him if these or were they known to have boost spiking.. just like DRAG!

im still goinn Custom!

how much is a full race?

what about peak boost??

1sloweg 01-Jun-2006 08:59 AM

full-race man, call them and talk to geoff or message him on honda-tech. Its basically the only true equal length manifold out there.

imported_weiRtech 01-Jun-2006 12:09 PM

i think it all depends on the purpose for the kit. if you intend to race a lot, then full race would be worth it. if it is for a daily driver and you don't race much, then i'd go with something a bit cheaper. it also depends on how much boost you want to run with... if you go high enough you will need to build your engine as well. $$$ starts to add up.

regardless, i'd invest in a good wb02 and some good tuning. that can save you a lot of broken parts and $ in the end.
