Does A Stock Exhaust System Have A Resonator?

I'm not sure if its my resonator or not but its right in the middle before the muffler. But anyways....its making a rattling noise inside everytime I accelerate and its really getting annoying. You can't really hear when you're standing outside but when you're inside the cabin....its annoying as hell. Should I go to Honda and get it replaced/looked at or go with an aftermarket one?

The resonator is the big, long round thing before the muffler. It might just be your heat shield rattling like mentioned in Silver SIG's thread. You could easily have an entire exhaust built for a few hundred bucks, or just find a used OEM one. Check the shileds first though. Chigga had his exhaust done by A&A in Stoney Creek using all Magnaflow parts and he is happy with it.

I removed the heat shield right below the engine, the heatshield above the resonator is tight. It's inside the resonator. :(

yes there is a resonator, located in the b pipe just after where your shifter would be

Alright thanks, I just wanted to make sure...don't want to look like an idiot when going to the muffler shop and not knowing what I'm talking about.
