Does '96-00 CX or DX come with Tach?

Hey,
I need to know if EK hatchbacks come with Tach on the cluster?

imported_ERTW 29-May-2005 09:11 PM

no

imported_Mikeye 29-May-2005 09:18 PM

that's what i thought.

my friend checked out an EK hatch with 160,000 km and there was a tach on the cluster. It seemed like a cluster from an EX.

you ppl need to get your facts checked straight..

DX had it, CX did not, BUT you could get it as an option when the car was purchased. Therefore some CX's might have a tach if the original owner decided they wanted one...

Is it true that in a EK that the cx has more features than a Dx. Like most CX in that year has A/C and the DX didn't? I know in my eg that the CX was the basic and it didn't have anything. But how come in that year is like the other way around. Because my sister's bf had a ek hatch and the dx we looked at that he was going to buy before didn't have power steering and A/C.

cibs 30-May-2005 11:41 AM

no, CX is lower than a DX how could it possibly have more features?

as with anything at honda you can buy a CX and pay extra to have the A/C installed, but you still wont' have power steering etc...

I'm pretty sure that DX does have power steering, that's one of the big differences, are you sure it was a DX and not the owner just 'saying' it was a DX?
