hi
my distributor stoped working on my 1990 civic si
i have a SOHC ZC motor
i was wondering if a distributor of an Si motor will work?
if not where can i get a distributor for the zc SOHC Motor??

Yes, the distributors should be identical.

No, they are different depending on if they are obd0, obd1, obd2, v-tec, non v-tec, dual point, multipoint, etc.

Well if its a complete ZC motor (head and block) then its a 1.6 just like the 88-91 Si. However the real question here is is you car dual point injected or multipoint injected because if its multipoint like the civic Si then you will need the Si distributor and if its dual point injected like the CX and DX models then you will need the dual point distributor.

if its an Si (the car was originally an Si, with an Si motor) its probaably multiport.. (I doubt someone would go to the trouble of converting to DPFI),DX DPFI looks like this http://www.4thgenerationcivic.com/ho...pics/d16a6.jpg
