Distributer cap, Bseries/ Dseries the same one?

Distributer cap, Bseries/ Dseries the same one?

hey guys, from my research the b and d series caps show the same part number (well CRV, and my car dseries are the same)


I just want to double check before i buy this used MSD cap, cuz its off an integra. It will fit my d series right??

i looked at my d15 cap and it looked like it will fit mine... but i know that i got a zc cap and its a 89 integra and its not the same... there is a small dent in the cp that will not fit my b series...
they should work... but im not exactly sure

I think the dizzy are dependant on if they are obd-0 obd-1 or obd-2

but double check...

JSK is right according to what I know..... but I think they might also be different based on Series of the engine they are using.

ok i finally found the product guide on msds site (bad site for navigateing...)


hmm seems to be the GSR (b18c) is diff than all the rest, otherwise its obd dependent.... damn, i dont know what the diff could be, i wonder if it would still work??

the cap is off of a B18C1...hmmmm

a newer SIR with dohc vtec should work, I also know that non vtec dizzy's also will work with vtec motors with a little mod...

those vtec dizzys are $$$$bling$$$$

GSR is different from all of them. Just like its intake manifold (non interchangeable).
