Difference between SiR suspension Vs. DX

Hey, just wondering whether SiR shocks and springs will fit in a 1998 DX hatch?

If so, will my ride height be lower? What differences will I notice?

thanks.

Yes you will notice a difference, and its in the spring rates..
Your car now.....96-00 EX - 165F/80R (P/P)
SiR suspension ....99-00 Si (EM1) - 201F/99.8R (P/P)

Higher the number...the more stiff it is.
P is for a progressive springs.

I think that number (SiR) translates to somewhat F4K/R2K

Stiffer springs needs to work with shocks that are designed for it. If you switch a, say, F8K springs on a stock shock, ride will be stiff but won't be as nice as if the shock was made to work with an 8K spring.

What if you were to pair up the SiR shocks with aftermarket springs (ie. H&R Sport) on the DX. Would there be an improvement in ride quality using the SiR shocks as opposed to the DX shocks? Will the SiR shocks eventually blow as well?
