the weight is a difference... the true ITR body does not have that tar (or whatever its called) under the carpet.. without that stuff, it makes you hear all the road noise, but those stuff are like heavy shiet, so once remove, it is lighter and its not an easy job to remove it =)

i believe the gsr has a sun roof. the itr does not... that is probably the most noticeable difference. also, the gsr should have 4 bolt wheels instead of 5 bolt...

just curious as to why you are interested in knowing this? i hope you don't intend to make your gsr look like a itr... i knew a guy who did that to his ls integra that was automatic... not a good idea, he had the car stolen and recovered 3 times the first summer after making it look like a itr.

Wing, door (no side door strips), lip kit, muffler tip, 5 lug, sunroof/no sunroof...etc

The most obviously is the door.

yea, i met this guy, a friend's girlfriend's co-worker;s friend LOL, anyway, one guy had a GSR which was nice n all, the other guy had a white integra, looked like a type R(except 4 lugs and no spoiler lol), i start talkin to him...find out that he put a full 98 exterior conversion, put GS-R blades on it, i look inside, USDM ITR seats! lol the black with red stitching, front n rears...n then ...i look down the middle...automatic lol...was lke 'dayum thas ghetto", stock LS motor...i personally would have spent all the money on motor first before doin looks on it...especially droppin a few Gs on it, but...to each his/her own...

I prefer having a GSR over a type-R, just for the leather(blackish grey w/ red stitching), sunroof and quieter ride.

Peronsal perference in the end..

its a type-r... nothing more to be said...

isn,t the type-r chassis a little more rigid like the ctr is over the ek?

refer to that thread. I wrote a pretty good section in there explaining the differences. Also a lot of other people gave some really good points. I also enclosed a diagram showing the structural differences.
