did anyone got their springs installed in speedtech
I'm just curious, did anyone had any problems on installing their springs especilly for the 5th gen civics. I went to speedtech today and they told me that sometimes the bushings on the springs are bad and that if it is then the whole thing would cause me around $240 labour and installion which i think is a little to much

I had problems when I installed my coilovers in my EG. The rear bolt was seized to the metal shaft in the bushing. I broke one of the bolt's and this caused a problem. I had to replace both rear bushing's plus the bolts. It cost's $30 a bushing plus $6 a bolt, It should cost you $72 for parts plus labor. It is worth the money to have someone else do the work if you don't have the proper tools.
Just my $0.02

It's a common thing for the lower shock bushing to seize - esspecially on an older car. It's also a lot of work to replace it, because it requires a new bushing to be pressed into the control arm.
Labour and parts sound about right.
