Device to add weight under the hood?

Is there a device you can buy that will add weight to the front end of your car?

The reason I ask is because the front tires are way too easy to spin on my '98 Civic hatch (especially in first gear).......so I'm thinking some added front weight would be the best solution?

TIA.
Paul

LOL.... you guys are too much. My Civic only cranks about 120 horses with a factory engine and air intake........ BUT, the problem is my ***-end (the hatch) is full of heavy subs...... and if you open the hood, the front end of the car doesn't have a whole hell of a lot in it!! There is just the engine, and then huge gaps.

And by the way.... I'm not throttling it to hell either. Sometimes (when the roads are wet) when I try to start up normally from stopping at a red light I will get tire hop which is REALLY ANNOYING!!
.........and my tires aren't that bad I don't think. They are Hercules tires. 195/50/15 I think (car is in storage right now and I can't remember exactly)

y would u wanna add more weight, u say u have subs in the rear which are heavy, if u plan on moving forward in ur car i suggest u remove weight not add it, dx's are slow enuf no need to add more weight, is ur car lowered, get ur alignment checked maybe ur camber is off and only part of ur tire is touching the ground causing it to spin easier

Just drive at 2-3000 RPM(if that) and you'll be fine.
If ya say start at a light at 4-5000RPM then yes you'll get wheel hop.

nice to see someone semi-local for once!

stiffen/lift it up a bit and the weight will be shifted forward a bit for ya..(center of gravity will move forward on the chassis)
