Decent Headers ?

Are these headers 1/2 decent off ebay ? I have a b18c1 and they say it will fit. The motor is in a 93 civic h/b. Any feedback would be great heres the headers Im looking at

simple answer.....any header priced less than $450 is probably a generic $15 overseas header. the $450 units, are the $100 overseas header with a good design. poorly designed headers are cheap, and a well tuned unit (which, always make more power everywhere) is a bit more pricey. so my question is, do u want to make good power, or do u just want a header?

just a header for the mean time

Mugen Power 23-Aug-2007 10:51 AM

well, i prefer 4-2-1 configurations w/2.5" collector mod

Perhaps an used J-spec ITR OEM header.

Im just wanting something that will sound a little nicer and looks newer than stock. I dont expect to gain mad hp. Just cause Im going with 2.5" all the way back. So 4-into-1 or 4-2-1 I dunno I have no clue lol I do plan on building up the motor in time this winter

why waste your money then? just dont buy one until you build it.

Re: Decent Headers ?

It looks like a nice header none-the-less....never heard of that company before tho...

imported_fa1se 23-Aug-2007 10:42 PM

what is the stock header size outlet ? 2.5" cause im gettin all 2.5" exhaust. So I just want something 1/2 decent for the meantime but also will help out when I build up

imported_Kingjames1983 24-Aug-2007 08:20 AM

half decent would be a JDM header from ... probably option I wouldn't let them rape you on the price though and at least you can sell it later if you choose to upgrade

imported_fa1se 24-Aug-2007 08:36 AM

Ok appreciate the input guys :)

from the sound of it, you should do more research on different setups before you build your engine because I/H/E are the basics

imported_fa1se 24-Aug-2007 03:07 PM

Im gettin 2.5" exhaust installed already have a aem intake, stage 1 clutch, now a decent set of headers and then pistons, cams and what not

RDub99 24-Aug-2007 03:55 PM

2.5" is good for n/a.. rage headers are good if you want to spend the money

imported_fa1se 24-Aug-2007 04:06 PM

I'll go n/a for the mean time then maybe boost after Ive put some money into the motor and read up more on turbos. I would spend the money on some nice ones but if I go turbo later on I will hardly get my money back for headers.
