D16z6 Removal
 
Does any one know where i can find a Nice detailed instructions on how to take out my motor??? im not mechanicaly inclined ive trust never tryed it before and dont see a harm in doing soo

Well i was thinkin of droppin the motor under the car, but i can get a hoist too
i have the hanes manual, isnt really thaat helpful
I need like step by step
i start gettin frustrated readin that thing
oh and how much u sellin the d16 for??
im gonna ask my cuz if hes interested

Either way you need a lift, or hoist. Or if you want to be ghetto, get a winch from CanTire, and hook it to the joists in your garage, then lift the motor out lol, or lift the front up, either way.

Sorry Im not selling a D16, its an ad for people who are selling theirs to contact me :thumbup:

haynes manual and helms manual are two different things

helms is a super detailed book compared to haynes
the price difference is huge too

you don' t need an engine hoist, i do engine swaps in my garage with my arms as the hoise, pay me 500$ and i will do the swap for you

Haha, i've seen a few pics of guys putting in a h22a in an accord, 3 of them dropped it in, it was nuts. Don't recall where i saw it but jeez, these guys were huge and their faces. oh man..Looked so funny, so red and the expressions.:haha:

If you cant afford a hoist, you could make one out of 4X4 from Home Depot, or if you have a garage, just buy a ratchet puller for $20 and attach it to the joist in your ceiling.

There you go, home made hoist.
