d16z6 or d16y8?

whats better? a d16z6 or d16y8? I have a 96 hatch with the d16y7 in it and am looking to do a swap. Any recommendations? Whats the diff in hp/torque?

yeah, d16y8 is pretty muc h meant for your car, d16z6 is an older motor, why put it in your ek?

why are you spending your money on this swap? Unless you're doig the work yourself, it dosn't have much of a benefit. You're swapping a D16 for a D16...maybe it's because of mileage? I hear of people swapping in B16's and not noticing much of a difference. To me, this is a waste of time unless it's for educational purposes or mileage purposes.

z6 head flows better but y8 has a better designed combustion chamber... but in the end they make basically the same power...
