Need some help cause this prob is driving me crazy. My 99 civic si runs great idles great for a while then it seems like once its at full running temp I get enigine light, high idle and weird bog, low in every gear. Something just not right. I replaced Plugs, cap, rotor, AIC, Bled radiator Just cant figure it out??

Happens every time i get to maximum running temp. Could it be something as easy as plug wires or fuel filter???

check the code and go from there....randomly replacing parts is just silly.

i had the same problem with my y8.... i replaced it all... and it turned out to be th3e spark plug wires.... they may look good on the outside but definately are probably not... i used a buddies just to test it out and it cured my problem.

the CEL (check engine light) comes on for a reason, its super easy to check the codes, and they are there to aid the trouble shooting process.
