D16Y8 into EG?

Hi, I'm planning to put a D16Y8 from 96-00SI into a EG (92-95). Anybody know if it's a bolt on swap? Do i have to use any custom mount? Thanks.

It's a direct swap.

no custom mounts needed.

run a P28 ecu from '92-'95 Si or EX-V

if you can't find one you'll need to rewire to OBDII specs, which is $$$$

thanks Jugglez, I'm going to swap the whole thing to D16Y8 with wire, ecu and axles, everything from 96-00 civic... so I think I don't hv to worry about wiring.

I have one in my 94 sedan. I just ran a P28 ecu and only had to run 2 new wires for vtec. Its much much easier to run OBD1 and run 2 extra wires instead of converterting the whole car to OBD2.

Your car will respond to mods much better with OBD1.
Don't waste your time with OBDII...
