What can i do to this engine to get a couple more horses out of it...

I'll be changing the intake manifold and throttle body... headers and intake...

but what else??

i know swaps are the way to go, but i'd rather beat on this engine till it dies... then swap when i've got more money to play with...

turbo it....you can't squeeze a lot of power out of n/a d-series

for the price of a turbo setup i can drop a gsr in it...

all i want is to squeeze like 35-40 more horses out of it....

you can't get that much power without building the engine itself, that means high compression pistons, pnp, valve job, better cams etc etc....not cheap stuff

a 50 or 100 shot of nitrous will do the trick
