d16y5 vtec-e what makes this motor econamy??
hi i have a d16y5 vtec-e what is it about my motor that makes it an econamy motor
if i switch the had 4 a si head and si ecu wil that work or what ??
i dont realy have any idea
just wondered if u guys knew
its jap speck and it is vtec be4 i get anybody telling me its not
the motor is totaly stock right now i have
SIR stock mufler from header back and a aem cold air intake
just want a little more power
and how much wil a little turbo setup be??
i dont want lots of power just a little more
and if anybody has a old setup that is stil good let me know pm is best

so i think what i got from this the bottom end of the motor is just the same its just the way it makes fuel and air swirl together so u use less fuel.
so this means if i change the head to an si head and the ecu this wil make my engin back 2 a y8 motor somebody corect me if im wrong
