d16a1 head on sohc zc block

d16a1 head on sohc zc block

does anyone know if we can put the d16a1 head from an 88 integra on a sohc zc block? will they bolt up together? will the pistons not hit any valves and so on. also if this does work does it make more power this way?

yes it can be done, as for power, i think you do get an increase since the combustion chambers are different

heres a link so someone on honda tech that did it

he used a DOHC ZC head on a d15 bottom end, its pretty much the same ur doing
