Question D series header

I have a D17A that's the 2001 civic i was wondering is it possible if i can put the D16 or D15 Header in my car?

Has anyone try this?

won't the cat just be relocated....

personally I think you'd have to test fit it .... I read somewhere that the d17 blocks were taller

On some of the 7th gens (Si ones for sure) the cat is integrated into header, kinda like the 6th gen D16Y7. However, the genius didn't specify the car he owns, so we can't say if it's in the header or not. Even if he does relocate it (which means buying a cat as well), it'll take longer to heat up to operating temps, so the secondary heated O2 sensor will prolly throw an ineffective cat code early on before the cat is up to operating temp.
