custom exhaust work? anyone willing? headers/cat on civic cx hatch!

hey out there, I am looking for some headers and a high flow catalytic converter for my cx hatch. I just have all stock piping and a muffler on. I have been looking for headers, but all I find are ones for the ex civic in the 96-00 range. I am assuming this is because my cat is integrated into the exhaust manifold and the ex's isn't?

Well, if I understand correctly, I can pick up an ex header and slap it on, relocate the cat somewhere underneath the car (thinking of a test pipe or high flow- emission legal cat) and I guess I need a flex pipe in between. Now, this is for the experts. Can I use my stock piping for the rest? I think its at least 1 1/2 inch (maybe not stock).

I guess there is a little custom work involved as well as I think I need to extend my o2 sensor somehow. Well, if anyone has any ideas or is willing to do the work for me ($$$$ involved of course - unless someone out there does probono work - yeah that would be nice).

Also, any ideas if what i am doing is right? Thanks.

Yes you can re-locate the cat .. I have a 99 Sedan, basically the same as yours. If you get headers, then you'll definetly have to relocate the cat underneat. Its not hard to extend the it, jsut wiring. My cat just went the other day so I will be needing a new one.. Let me know if you find any good places... or maybe someone on here could do it for both of us. But there's a place called Noise Boyz in Sauga that did mine... Kinda pricey but they do good work.

do you know how much i might be looking at if i bring them the parts for a header/cat install? maybe upgrade my middle piping a little bit? Thanks.
