You can find everything you need at Home Depot. Just measure everything correctly and take the dimensions with you.

haha.. i went to home depot, ask the guy, he had no clue waht i am talking about.. i asked him to show me all the pipes they had.. and there were all little things, nothing that would allow me to make an extension...
maybe it was that guy or something but i walked alla round the plumbing section and saw no other pipes.. unless someone knows which hime depot has it for sure, you can give me a hand..

i actually went to home depot and got some 3" abs piping for my intake... i'll be the first to admit it looks like garbage... but it is incredibly loud and sounds nice... at higher rpms louder then the exhust i think... but if you dont care about looks get some foil tape and tape it all together

I don't know what they're called. I just measured bought enough piping for the car and measured everything out prefectly at home and cut and mounted it properly in the car.

D16 it doesen't look too bad, if you color match your car it won't look too bad but obviously the AEM CAI looks a lot nice but if you customize it you can get more air flow with a tube that has a larger diamemter than a AEM.

Hey waht exactly is "Abs" pipe??? i hope it's not like a duct pipe.. all stretchy and stuff cause when i did it, it strecth to much and didn't sit still... that's why i was looking for a stealy or strong rubber pipe..

I'm curious about your"abs" pipe.. you have any pics?? and is it more so like a duct pipe o r more stiffer like a rubber or perhaps steal pipe???

ya its hard plastic... it works really well for intakes cause the sound of the intake is bounced off that stuff and it makes a really mean noise at full throttle... as of now i dont really have a muffler on my car so its loud as hell....and you can still hear the intake over the exhust... like i said before though it does look like ****... i just put it together to work not to look pretty... but i do have a pic if you wanna see... let me know and i'll send it to your email

The Speedy shop near my place has a catalogue of pipes with any bend/length/material you want. Pretty sure its dynomax stuff.... Any exhaust place could probably hook you up if don't want to go the pvc route.

When I was there last year, we looked up the price of one particular pipe, and the price was around 30 bucks. But I also saw a price for 70 bucks for the same pipe on the computer screen he was looking on and I asked what the 70 bucks is for. I believe thats a price range which they can charge between. So if you go in, they might charge on the low end or the high end of the scale depending on who's on the other side of the counter.

Enough with the Red Green cold air intakes. All that ABS plastic will melt eventually. Do it right. Check this out...
http://www.teamdelsol.com/technical/...ke/default.asp The best custom CAI article out there.
