LOL, if I could give you what you ask for I would, but I don't like to share :p

The whole car

punkindrublic 04-Sep-2003 02:25 PM

i'd probably go for the civic cause there aren't very mant in north america.... and how many cars push 115hp/liter and aren't the s2000 which gets 120hp/liter??

bbarbulo 04-Sep-2003 02:27 PM

CTR... I like small cars, the smaller the better. But, I'd rather build my own... 2000 hatch CX, B18C1 motor ... normally aspirated and built to 2 liters. :shrugs: there is something about that torque.

Rice Burner 04-Sep-2003 02:28 PM

Build you own you can, but it's not JDM :p :D

bbarbulo 04-Sep-2003 02:29 PM

doesn't bother me... :shrugs: I'm not JDM neither, so why should my car be?

Rice Burner 04-Sep-2003 02:32 PM

LOL

punkindrublic 04-Sep-2003 02:34 PM

i think a good motor build would be taking a b16b and stroking it to 1.8 or 2.0 liters

imported_zc_hatch 04-Sep-2003 06:47 PM

lol thats craazy man!

lets go steaking!

imported_mugen_r 04-Sep-2003 07:41 PM

I'd love to have the EK CTR, but no thanks on the EP3

I wouldn't mind the ITR, any year

I have always been a fan of CTR. The styling is just my favourite.

I am just confused between motor choice.... D16 turbo, B18B turbo, NA B18C, or NA B16B....

I so want to swap....

imported_nautica_t 04-Sep-2003 09:44 PM

i liek the itr, i'm not a major nut fan of the ek
sorry ek owners. maybe b-cuz i don't see to much of them.

imported_MY SiR 05-Sep-2003 12:39 PM

If I were to look at 99/00 CTR and 95-01 ITR, I would go for the CTR. I heard it is faster and handles better. Also, the platform is actually more modern than the ITR.

With the EP and DC5, I wouldn't bother with either.

Bruno,
I'm not JDM either, but my GF is....

Mark

Nova_Dust 05-Sep-2003 01:14 PM

Well, that makes me CDM then...

shlammed 05-Sep-2003 01:25 PM

Im not sure which id take...but it would definatley have to be the older ctr's for sure. these new shits arent even hand made anymore from what i understand. That's a really tough call though...maybe the CTR cuz noone has a real one here, but then again how often do you see a jdm itr (real one)? And all this wanting to be jdm **** is funny to me...one of my buddies went to japan and he says everyone there gets a good laugh at the way we spend money on our imports to make them look like their stock factory cars. when you think about it, it is pretty funny.

Funny, and yet, sadly true.

Rice Burner 05-Sep-2003 03:19 PM

I will be purchising one or the other. It WILL be 100% JDM because I'm buying it in Europe, since I'm there everysummer for 4-6 months (with the exception of this summer) I want one. I was leaning towards an 99 ITR though. Don't know why. They both have the same engine if I'm not mistaken.
