c-pos came over today and we started pullin my pos car apart. Got all of the a/c crap out, header off, old oil pan off, had to grind the crap out of the lower torque mount to make room for the turbo (mmm, i still taste metal shavings...yum...lol). Got the 580cc injectors in, oil pan with oil return fitting tapped installed, tried to mock up the FMIC mouting with zip ties, but they broke and the FMIC fell on my legs (ya, that felt nice). The downpipe fits but its very very close to the slave cylinder on the front of the tranny. Aaron of weir technologies will be helping me fit the downpipe to my exhaust and building/modding the charge pipes tomorrow hopefully....woot.
Then the fun begins.
Then the fun begins.

old mc pos-man was a pos, pos-man, pos-man, pos.
I got the FMIC mounted and cut the crap out of the front bumper to make space for it and the charge pipes (that took FOREVER!!!). I got the turbo, manifold, wastegate, oil sandwhich adapter and turbo oil feed line installed today and got the downpipe to fit nicely.
I still need to install the resistor box, electronic boost controller, boost guage installed and go see aaron to finish her up.

heres a close-up of the manifold, wastegate, dumptube and turbo
Heres a shot of the engine bay
Heres a shot of the FMIC and a bit of the charge pipes
Aaron of Weir Technologies fabbed up the charge pipes for me today. I was using charge pipes off a CRX with a b16 in it, i'm amazed how little work it actually was for aaron to make them fit. He basically just had to add like 3-4" to the pipe that goes into the throttle body (right at the end where the throttle body is) and he added another 3-5" to the end of the pipe that goes from the FMIC to the pipe with the BOV on it that goes into the throttle body. The pipe that went from the turbo to the FMIC (the first half of the pipe) was another story, he did some voodoo magic to make it fit, the way it was on the CRX was the turbo was aimed upwards and the charge pipe whet up and over the frame rail behind the drivers side headlight, then down towards the ground where it met up with the other half of the turbo to FMIC pipe, which basically just came off the FMIC and has a 90 degree bend towards the firewall. Now, i clocked the tubo so it aims towards the ground and the charge pipe takes a quick 90 degree turn right off the turbo, goes underneath the frame rail (where the windsheild washer fluid resiviour used to be...i'll be fabbing something up so i can keep my washer fluid) then up and around towards the other half of the turbo to FMIC charge pipe, which he didn't have to mofidy at all.
I am very pleased with his work and the fact that he re-used ALL of the stuff i had from the CRX, including the expensive vibrant reinforced silicone couplers.
I highly recommend anyone with ANY sort of fabbing needs (not just car stuff) to call aaron at Weir Technologies and go see him down at his shop in burlington.
Unfortunately he couldn't fit my 3" downpipe to my exhaust (he didn't have the right flange, which is completely understandable b/c he's not an exhaust shop...lol), so i haven't been driving the car much b/c i don't like breathing in exhaust fumes and b/c i've got a damn oil leak that i need to fix.
I'm heading down to ohio to visit my parents on friday, so i won't get my car on the dyno until i'm back from there and done with all of the other cars i've gotta tune....so end of may/early june i'll have this bad boy dyno tuned and i'll post up the results.

fawk a wire tuck....function over fashion IMO, its not like i take my car to shows or anything, or even really pop the hood to show people what i've got....so i could care less. IMO my engine bay is pretty clean compared to a lot of cars i've seen. Most of the vaccum lines are run behind the intake manifold (MAP sensor, evap solenoid, boost guage, PVC (krank vent mini system), brake booster).
The FMIC is still too noticeable for me...i might paint it black....we'll see.
