Creak coming from Rear of '99 Civic
Hey peeps,
Just last year I had 15x6.5 (19lbs) rims and P195 55
Yokohama Avid T4's put on my '99 Civic 4door EX which originally came with 14inch (steel rims), P185 65 Firestones.
But since then, I've been getting an audible creak from the rear of the car. It is always audible if I make a turn on an incline (hilly surface), making a turn driving over a pothole or bump, or especially when there is allot of wieght in the rear seats (which normally wouldnt be a problem with my stock wheels).
*My reasoning is, that the rear tires are hitting the wheel well? OR that the rims maybe too light which is what is causing the creak\squeek?
*A friend's reasoning was that it maybe from the stock shocks?
*Honda is telling me to bring it in, but you know what that means, a big long bill at the end of the day
Thanks in advance.
