basically it comes down to how much your willing to spend.
there are many things you can do

like going back to stock
keeping stock assembly but upgraded pads and rotors
replacing everything (with aftermarket parts)
install gsr rear brake disk's
install type r 4 bolt
install type r 5 bolt
big brake kit.

basically the cheapest thing to do would be replace everything that needs to be replaced with aftermarket parts.

a bit more expensive but worth every penny is to use oem parts to replace items that are needed.

replacing everything with aftermarket parts (performance oriented) is a bit on the pricy side.

replacing suspension with a 4X114.3 or 5X114.3 is something that will give you alot of stopping power but costs can vary since now you will need new wheels.

imo i would replace it back with stock parts.
just because its a ex-v. these things already came with abs and rear disk plus they are super rare and are exclusive to canada.
