Crank Pulley
So i've never had the pleasure of removing the crank pulley before...but it's timing belt time
am i completely missing something about this crank pulley bolt...
the damn thing wont come off
using heat, penetrating oil, impact wrench
wanna make sure this isnt like reverse threaded or something
any help would be appreciated

The bolt is standard right hand thread.
On my d16 the nice people that installed the first timing belt used red threadlocker on the bolt when they reinstalled it.
I'll spare you the long story but I ended up heating the bolt with an oxy-acetylene torch and and 3/4" drive impact gun with 650ft-lbs of torque.(1/2" drive with 500 ft-lbs wouldn't cut it) Wish you the best of luck.

try removing the flywheel cover and wedging a pry bar in between the teeth of the flywheel to hold the engine from spinning while cranking on the crank pulley bolt. This is a 2 person job, 1 to hold the flywheel and 1 with a breaker bar cranking on the crank pulley bolt.
Or you could go to canadian tire and buy the $30 crank pulley removal tool. Its saved my a$$ a few times and makes removing the crank pulley a 1 person job.

I would advise against wedging the flywheel as you have the possibility of breaking the transmission housing(unknown threadlocker issue as mentioned above).
It seems that you have access to pneumatic tools so you could possibly take it to a shop and get it removed, lubricated and reinstalled such that you could then remove it yourself and complete the job. If you think installing timing belts is going to become a regular occurance as Andrew said, purchase the $30 tool.

This is the crank pulley removal tool. It fits inside the crank pulley and still allows acess to the bolt with a socket and breaker bar. Its $35 from crappy tire, and worth its weight in gold if you ever have to remove the crank pulley to change the timing belt or water pump or headgasket or whatever. Its a good, cheap tool to have if you work on honda's.
