Couple of problems ..Please help.

Okay so I bought a new clutch and flywheel to compliment the new turbo setup. Just got the clutch and flywheel installed.

1) The drive is definitly smoother, and the rattling has gone down quite a bit from my previous clutch. However its still evident. I engage 1st gear and it sounds nice and smooth until I hit about 3000 then the light chattering noise comes back in. Cant seem to figure out what it is. I was told it could be the throwout bearing, but its new. So i cant figure out whats making the noise?

2) I was in a parking lot cruising, all of a sudden my idle went to about 2700, and stayed there. I kept driving it and eventually went back to normal. any ideas?

3) Now that ive done so much to the car, im noticing little thigns here and there. Im hearing a little whistling or zinging noise when i push the gas.

Right now im running 5 lbs of boost with a chipped ecu/basemap for my 450 injectors, untuned. Im only cruising the car around until Zman tunes it.

check for a bad mount.

Usually you could clutch chatter when it engages, so I doubt its actual clutch chatter. Mabye its a heatshield? I'd have to hear it to be certain obviously. But check for bad mounts

Yeah its not actually chatter, its like a some sort of tranny noise that occurs at about 2-3000 rms and stays as long as its in gear. it kinda drowns out the lovely low rumble exhaust noise.

id check a heat shield also, i had a truck (yea i know) which had a heat shield on the bottom of the cat which always chattered more like clunked around at 2100- about 2500 rpm. sounded so bad. but oh well. best of luck. and if you are running bost wouldnt your whistling sound be your boost or something in the induction system? shouldnt that be normal? i know my air ram makes noises somewhat to that so i would assume its normal.

light weight flywheel?

Just got a whole new exhaust and piping, and the noise was there before i got all the piping done, so i dont think its the heatshield on the cat. And the whistling isnt the turbo, it sounds more like air is escaping or something.

And yes it is a lightweight flywheel.
