Cooling System...

Hey there... Just wanted to get some advice about what's happening with my car, I've noticed that the hose that connects to the bottom of the rad is always cold... I'm wondering if this is normal or not...
My coolant level is always the same and so is my temperature guage after it warms up. I pulled out the thermostat and tested it, found that it wasn't opening up, but after replacing it, I didn't notice any difference at all. I've recently done a coolant flush and everything seems to be fine... I'm just wondering if I should be concerned about that cold hose...
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

your thermostat is closed shut so it doesnt allow coolant to flow through the lower rad hose untill your car reaches operating temperature. How long does it take for the rad hose to get warm?

The upper rad hose gets warm in a normal amount of time, the lower rad hose never gets warm...

the lower hose shouldn't get hot... that's cooled coolant going back into the engine when the thermostat lets it.
