yeah it could also be the fan isnt working but i wouldnt expect the fan to play a big role at highway speeds?

My car did the same thing a couple days ago and thats the first time its gone above half the whole time ive had it. Seeing as it was warm enough to be outside at nite in shorts im guessing that would be the problem (small rad).

you are right - it might me the thermostat- which i will check it out- it never hurts to replace it- it might be that the spring doesnt work properly - but I do need a rad - that is the 92 honda rad - lx model - its old - im sure even if I got a new one then it will be better for the engine. I will see what I do - and I will post on the weekend

Im not doing anything today- too hung over from last night- cops giving me a hard time about being drunk in a public place last night- = a good night

I have the same with my swap...b16a2 in my ek...it seems to run real hot...I compared the rads from a real sir and they are the same... someone told me to maybe get a new thermostat that would activate earlier so the engine would stay cool...my prob is that I have no heat guage(broken)...do you think this is a good idea?

what i am doing is getting a rad from a 2002 sir (7 gen) I am going to get rid of the a/c and put in a full size rad and a new thermostat with new hoses. I might even go with 2 fans. That will give me more then enough cooling for my application.
