coolant level very low ...???
have anyone have this problem b4???
I just had a tune up 2 weeks ago and the coolant level was at the max level but after a week it was down to slightly below min mark and now it's close to nothing.... I can only see it if I open up the bottle and look down...
this happened last year but it was fine after I filled it back up
but it's happening again I don't think there's a leak coz my garage floor is nice and clean ... not a drop of fluid
Thanks for the input and help guys

The same thing happened to me when I had my rad replaced a month ago. I think the shop forgot to warm the engine up and let thermostat open before they checked to make sure they had the proper amount of coolant in the overflow bottle. When I checked my levels the next day the bottle was empty, added some water and everything's all good.
If you have no leaks then check to see if your exhaust is white or has a sweet smell to it.

what kinds of problems can low coolant cause (besides overheating) since i never saw that.. but a couple weeks during the real hot days, with air on max and i would cruise to a stop, everytime i'd hit the brake, i'd feel like my car was gonna stall.. not really, but the rpm's dipped really low i bet.
and someone said.. ohh.. need a new rad... but i think it's cause my coolant was low... does this make any sense?

If you overheat the engine, you can possibly blow the head gasket, or seize the motor if it gets bad enough.
Roy, try idling the car for a few minutes until the fan kicks in. If you see any steam, then that's when you know there's a leak in the cooling system.
If the car is overheating, I'd recommend you get the cooling system bled out.

they probably forgot to wait till all the air is flushed out after they drained it...
