coolant leak

sounds like the water pump! find out when timing belt was done last it would be a good time to dothe both of them!

could be the water pump or it could be leaking from the coolant neck (the pipe thingy that runs underneath the intake manifold on the backside of the engine, from the water pump to the thermostat housing, there is a little rubber o-ring on either side of the coolant neck (pipe), that could be gone....but its most likely your water pump, once the water pump pulley develops a little play in the shaft, its usually only a matter of time before it starts leaking.
Change the timing belt when you change the water pump for sure.
