Coolant flush options

Last time I flushed my coolant I broke the rad's drain plug so I'm afraid to take it out again. I don't feel like going all the way to a scrapyard to find one today. Is there anything else I can do to flush it easily?

Someone refresh my memory i cant find my manual.

Drain coolant. Put plug back in. Put in rad flush crap and let car run with that + water for 15 mins or so. Drain that and leave plug off. Now, when you use the hose to backwash all the **** is the car supposed to be off or on? And is the car supposed to be off or on when you fill the rad in the end?

after you ran the car with water and drained it out turn the car off.. close the drain plug. open the bleeder screw by the thermostat where the top rad hose goes and then fill it up with some oem coolant. close the bleeder screw when coolant starts squiting out and put the rad cap back on. check the level of coolant after its been running for a while and make sure everythings ok and your done.
