Confusion about wiring, B16A2 into EG...Help!

So I searched and read anything that I could find about swaping a B16A2 into my car and I'm still confused. Its a 2000 SiR engine, tranny, computer, linkage, mounts, axles, harness, going into my car, 93 DX coupe.

Now my major confusion is that if I can use my stock harness or not. If it is useable (I pray to god that it is), then does anybody have a link on how to add VTEC, Oil pressure sensor, etc. wires?

Other confusion I have is about this connector adaptor business. Does my stock DX harness plug into the SiR ECU? (P30, right?) if not, where can I get an adaptor, and is there any way around using an adaptor to plug into SiR ECU?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Well it would be a lot easier if you got the harness from a 2000 civic SI or SIR. The ecu won't plug into your harness b/c its obd2 ecu (well it should be at least if the engine is from a 2000 civic) and your car is obd1. You can get around this by getting an obd1 p30 ecu, or gettin a chipped p28. Also, the distributor from the engine won't plug into the cars harness, again b/c the obd2 dizzy has 1 big plug, while the obd1 harness has 2 plugs. The obd2 ecu will also look for 2 o2 sensors, but your cars harness only has a plug for one.
You can just hardwire the dizzy and get an obd1-> obd2 conversion harness.

you can use the dx harness but you will need to run a few wires for vtec, you can convert the P06 ecu from your DX into a P28 and get it chipped or just go out and buy a P28

Alright people, help me PLEASE! I have the engine in, with its 2000 SiR harness on it. What do I do know?

use ur stock harness and get the ob1 to ob2 conversion harness.. and do the rest of the wiring yourself.. very easy if you take your time.... harness will b prob like 100 $ give or take and wires are like a couple bucks i don't think youd have to much to wire up... i wired my engine myself and i didn't htink i could do it at first.. took alook at it .. finished in less than a days worth of work ( a couple hours for three days) started up no codes
