lol ya.. a bit pricey.. but I guess you get what you pay for right?.. sometimes the price can drive a lower budget car enthusiast away.. well I consider myself in that bracket, but I just wanna get the "best" for my car.. even if it might take a little longer

can't say... but > $400

in other word's it's quite a bit more than AEM or INJEN, or any other intake manufacturer's......

check out their website and you'll get an idea ....

I'm not one for sarcastic comments

but I didn't say anything was wrong with the Comptech, but for that price I would've picked up a nice CF J's racing intake. It out performed an AEM CAI on a ITR, and it's a short ram

I actually like the icebox myself and once considered it, but in the end I chose something else...

well I didn't say HOW much over $400 ... so... and for "that" price, you can't pick up a J's racing intake or the Mugen Ice box.. there's no way....

Nope, not step by step pics...just a final pic of how the intake sits in your engine bay. Never seen anyone with a comptech intake..so i was just wondering what it would look like..

Did you get the complete icebox (ie. intake pipe, filter, and icebox)? If so, $400 is a great price.

actully I can get the J's for about $40 more

That's why I said that

But definetely not the Mugen intake, it's closer the $1000 range for an intake
