Cold air question

I have a cold air on my 97 si, not a problem to instal, but i want to rig up a cold air on my friends 91 hatch, the problem is that i don't know how a cold air would fit, since the batery is in the way.

does anybody have any pics to show, or any links where i can see how the cold air on the 91 hatches is installed?

hope i was clear.

thanks.

Relocate the battery... problem solved. I've seen enough 4th gens with this type of setup.

hey, yeah i have a generic short ram, but not a cold air intake. If you want, i can take a pic for you today/right now, and post it, if you want. i have a 90, so it will be pretty much the same.

hey, I was wondering how abouts you installed the cold air intake on your 5th gen, 97 Si... actually, I have a 98 Ex and Im pretty sure everything except the engine is the same, however, I didn't want to cut a hole on my chasis to fit the pipe down to the front of the car.. pls help, as I am not too sure what to do..

thanks in advance!!!

if i'm not mistaken; when i took out my air box to put in my short ram, there's still a box or something that runs to the bottom of the bumper. I think you require to jack the car up to take this out, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i know for sure that you will not have to cut anything. there is an existing hole there. I'm going to be putting cold air intake later, but not now, so i can't really help you. -> 4th gen civic speaking.

No there is nothing to cut, u just have to remove the air box off COMPLETLY. and ther should be a hole for the pipe to go through. you have to remove the bumper to put on the filter.
