Cold Air Intake Problem

I just had a Cold air Intake installed in my 99 honda ex Sohc. Whenever I touch the gas pedal, i hear a high piched sound coming from under the hood, when I let go, the sound stops? I'm not sure if this is related to or not, but one of the holes in the intake where a tube connects to, does not connect to anything on the car, the hole in the intake closest to the engine has a sensor connected to it, the two holes that are side by side close to the filter each have a hose connected, one is connected to something, the other (closest to the air filter) is not connect to anything. The place I had it installed told me that they don't see a reason for the other hole, so they just put the tube on it and taped the end closed? Any ideas what can be the reason it is giving the high piched sound? I have checked and see nothing rubbing each other, if anyone has any installation diagrams or pics please post!! Thanks

its just the sound of air surging around your throttle plate when it is about half-open... its basically becomes a whistle, and since you now just have a straight tube wtihout any baffling and resonator, you can hear it.

Is it worse with the D16Y7 throttle bodies since they're vertical?
